17/01/2014: Known as the Oscars of the Gay Fetish World, the annual Mr Hoist Contest, proudly sponsored by RoB London and powered by www.thehoistbasements.com, has become one of the biggest and most high profile of the many ‘Mister’ contests which take place worldwide!
John Pendal, winner of Mr Hoist 2003 and subsequent winner of International Mr Leather in Chicago that same year, was the MC for the night’s proceedings, but it was down to the Hoist’s audience to vote for who they wanted to win this year’s coveted title, and walk away with prizes worth over £750!
And it was the gorgeous, half Spanish half English daddy Frankie who was crowned Mr Hoist 2014, winning by a landslide audience vote and retaining his current Mr Hoist title. It seems that Frankie’s very popular at Europe’s premier dress code bar, and the bearded hunk’s victory was sealed the moment he assured the crowd that he was a genuine top guy.
Speaking to QXMEN, the Hoist’s Unkut Kurt said, “It was a fantastic night and the Hoist was wall-to-wall with sexy fetish studs in leather and rubber, along with skins, sports guys and the hottest totty I have ever seen in the club… Not bad after 18 years!” And when asked about what we can look forward to in the coming months, he continued, ”2014 has certainly started with a mighty bang for the Hoist, and as it’s our 18th year, we’re going continue with loads more very sexy fetish parties! The next date to put in your diaries is Friday February 14th when it’s the very strict leather and rubber dress code night Hoist Black. Then Friday March 21st signals the start of our big 18th Birthday Weekend with the SBN Birthday… I can’t wait!”
