On Friday 1st July, Manchester Gay Skins, in association with Oi-Industries, will hold the 12th Annual Manchester Gay Skinhead Charity Weekend.
It’s a social weekend where Skins from across the UK, Europe, U.S.A. and beyond can meet up with likeminded guys and try to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity.
This year it’s the Albert Kennedy Trust (www.akt.org.uk), which supports homeless young LGBT people in crisis. The REM Bar on Canal Street hosts the Welcome Drinks Party on Friday night, Saturday sees an afternoon of SKA music at Company Bar, and the main event on Saturday night is at Alert! the premier gear and fetish club night in the North.
Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm there’s a party in The Cellar and at 5pm there’s Cabaret at REM Bar with Mandy Gap. For more details check out www.oi-manchester.co.uk.
