Cam4 have got themselves a football team! From August 10th, an all-new seven man squad will grace the amateur football leagues of Kent with the logo of adult webcam portal “CAM4” emblazoned across their chests.
What are they called you ask? They’ve named themselves…wait for it… “CAM4theWin”
Err, we’re already in love. Usually our only reason to pay attention to football revolves around hairy thighs and the changing rooms, but this has actually piqued our interest!
So how did this all come about? Team captain Stefan Murphy said the team would not be able to pursue their dream of hitting the big leagues unless they secured a shirt sponsor. “We approached several local businesses but all declined the opportunity. After much exasperation and rejection, one of the lads sent an email to his favourite cam site, CAM4. Much to our disbelief they offered a legitimate sponsorship deal within a matter of days! We could not be happier!”
CAM4 spokesperson, Derek Diggler said the adult webcam portal had a long history of helping worthy causes. “We are big believers in giving something back to the community. From sponsoring the Free Speech Coalition to participating in the recent New York AIDS Walk, we are proud to contribute to the causes our community believes in. We have for many years supported a wide range of inspirational causes. We even paid for the Tattoo removal on Billy the Human Billboard’s face (aka Hostgator Dotcom) back in the day! When we heard of the plight of the boys, we were more than happy to help out. The lads are fans of the site and want to pursue their passion for the beautiful game. We look forward to watching them rise to the occasion. They are sure to provide stiff competition.”
CAM4theWin have pledged to put the willies up the opposition in the coming season. Team captain, Stefan Murphy is also grateful for the CAM4 endorsement. “We appreciate CAM4 going balls deep on this one, they came through for us when no one would. The lads are now buzzing for the new season ahead. We even got free tokens so we can wind down after the game… you can’t say fairer than that!”
