National HIV Testing Week returns to promote regular testing among the most affected population groups and to reduce the rates of undiagnosed people and those diagnosed late. This year, NHTW starts on Saturday 17 November 2018. In the UK, the combination prevention approach to HIV means we are witnessing a substantial decline in HIV diagnoses for the first time, but that doesn’t mean we should stop testing! There was a small increase in late diagnoses between 2015 (39%) and 2017 (43%), which means testing is still as important as ever.
