In February’s QXMEN, we featured the Midlands’ only men-only club, Boltz. Recently we caught up with Liam, the clubs owner, to find out about the exciting plans they have in store for this year’s Birmingham Pride weekend.
Taking place on the first weekend in June, Boltz are planning a huge fetish weekend to celebrate both Birmingham Pride and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and Liam told QXMEN, “It’s a great opportunity to get your fetish gear out and party,” said Liam.
“We have loads of horny things going on during the Pride weekend, and it’ll all kick off on Friday June 1st and carry on right through to Tuesday the 5th… It’s going to be one hell of a weekend! We’ve also worked hard on some refurbs, so expect to see some great new additions to the club!”
The refurbishment includes an improved cinema room, complete with luxury leather seating, a brand new giant dark room with cabins and glory holes, a special water sports area and a dedicated changing area next to the entrance lobby. Plus the infamous Bullring Cruise Rooms will be open throughout the entire weekend!
EVENTS
The weekend will feature 3 zones, including an outside tent with its own bar. The weekend’s naughty events will launch with the Pride Opening Party on Friday June 1st, with pints of beer from just £2.80 and hunks from ButchDixon.com making an appearance, giving out freebies and performing live on stage… It’s an opening party not to be missed!
Pride Day on Saturday June 2nd will kick off at 2pm with the outside bar and tent area attracting a mixed crowd. Indoors at Boltz it’ll be a men-only area, with the tent outside becoming men-only from 8pm. Funky, techno and horny-up tribal house will be playing throughout the day, leading up to the legendary Full-on-Fetish.
Full-on Fetish kicks off at 10pm and will carry on until 6am on the top level zone of Boltz. March’s Full-on-Fetish attracted hundreds of guys from all over the country, so expect this party to be even bigger and better! The sexy guys from UKNakedMen.com will be there giving away XXX freebies and performing live on stage, plus fetish superstore, Expectations and their brother Prowler will be there on the night, selling a great range of toys, clothing and essentials.
Please note that Full-on-Fetish operates a strict fetish dress code, but any fetish is accepted. The downstairs zone will be open to anyone in fetish gear or casual wear, so everyone will be welcome.
If Saturday’s antics aren’t enough for you, then make sure you’re back at Boltz on Sunday June 3rd at 2pm for a re-run of Saturday! Full-on-Fetish will be back from 10pm, with Expectations, Prowler and some sexy lads from Eurocreme will also be making an appearance with even more freebies and live shows! Again, the outside tent will become men-only from 8pm.
QXMEN’s horny new columnist, Zack Hadley, who regularly DJs at the club, will be on the decks at Full-on-Fetish on both Saturday and Sunday.
Monday June 4th, and it’s the much-anticipated Pigfest Jubilee Party from 2pm, with free food, a BBQ and great deals at the bar all day. Don’t forget Tuesday is also a bank holiday, so to celebrate, Monday night sees the return of Sportladz – the horniest sports kit party around – from 10pm through ‘til 4am!
There’s no strict dress code, but we’ve been told that guys who make an effort will get a few surprises throughout the night! So enjoy Tuesday – the last day of the bank holiday weekend – in Boltz, relaxing and chilling out with friends over a beer or two!
