U.K. porn powerhouse Alphamalemedia celebrates its third birthday this month and QXMEN caught up with its founder Trojan Rock to find out how it all started and what plans he has for the studio…
Having sold his TV company, Brighter Pictures Ltd which produced Big Brother, for several million in 2001, Trojan decided to try out something which he’d always wanted to do. This was to become a porn actor.
And after starring in some 20 movies in the United States, for companies such as Titan Media, Raging Stallion Studios, Mustang, Massive and Butch Bear to name a few, Trojan, the definitive ‘porn Daddy’ decided that it was time to set up a porn production company of his own.
He teamed up with legendary porn actor Carlo Cox, and porn/TV director Maxwell B, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fed up with plastic acting and staged scenarios, Trojan, Carlo and Maxwell wanted to make porn that was real and to make films that featured ‘real guys, having real sex with real attitude’. From this concept, Alphamalemedia.com was born and for the last three years the studio has brought some of the hottest, hung muscle men having even hotter sex to our screens!
Alphamalemedia’s very first film Out In The Open, released back in September 2007, set the standard for European studios, and gave the American studios a run for their money. Trojan told QXMEN, “There was no one in the U.K. producing films with the type of models that we were using.
We were going head to head with the likes of Titan, Hot House and Raging Stallion, which was a huge risk. But the gamble paid off and we soon became one of the top selling brands in Europe and America of this genre! I think that what made us successful is that the guys we’ve always used love doing what they do.
We cast guys together according to the chemistry between them. That way you get scorching hot scenes!” In fact, over the years Alphamalemedia has been a breeding ground for new talent and the studio has launched many famous faces (and cocks) such as Alex Baressi, Axel Ryder, Ben Statham and Ross Hurston, to name just a few.
Three years on, 28 movies later, and with the fantastic club site Alphamalefuckers.com, the studio is now part of the largest porn producer in Europe, the Eurocreme Group, and is about to get a fantastic new look and feel to it…
Speaking to QXMEN, Trojan said, “Hanging on the shirt tails of our success there’s a few new studios in the U.K. copying the look and feel of Alphamalemedia, which is all very flattering. But we think that now’s the time for us to evolve and again lead rather than follow… We’ll always be one step ahead!”
Continuing, Trojan said, “It’s time to bring younger talent to the table and provide the porn that our fans really want to see.
