We were all concerned a couple of months ago, when building permission was being sought to knock down the entire block which contains Backstreet in Mile End, and build a new apartment block. Boooo! Hiss! Gentrification sucks!
Luckily, this permission was denied, giving Backstreet a new lease of life as London’s original, classic and world-renowned Leather/Rubber Fetish Club, with a hard-playing series of events every weekend.

MASTERY: A bi-monthly event, now established as London’s hottest and hardest strict dresscode Leather Cruise and Play event.
RUBBRD: Gaining in popularity every month as the gimps and pigs and rubber boys hear about how sexy and sleazy it is.
MEAT RACK: A new monthly live-music night with DJ ROB C, Live and Leathered, playing London’s dirtiest beats.
DOWN AND DIRTY: This night encourages Leather and Rubber players to bring all their toys, masks and ropes along, to start getting nasty in Backstreet’s dark corners and in the horny S/Mokers area out back.
