To mark this year’s International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, global webcam platform CAM4 has launched a new initiative called CAM4 Stories.
Its aim is to collate a collection of real life accounts of what it was like for you coming out. Announcing the initiative, CAM4 spokesperson Derek Devlin, said, “CAM4 is a community of real people built on friendship, mutual love and respect. We want to bring people closer together and our aim is that we can create a bank of true life stories that becomes a resource that will help others through what is for some a very challenging time in their life.”
Created as a place where all consenting adults can express themselves, regardless of sex, race, size, or sexual preference, CAM4 renounces all forms of homophobia, transphobia and biphobia and proudly supports equality, diversity and inclusion for all. This inclusive approach has enabled CAM4 to become one of the biggest gay websites on the Internet today, a fact Derek says “we are very proud of and cherish”.
CAM4 Stories kicks off with CAM4 performers JMatt (Star of BBC Documentary Series Webcam Boys), VicktorKnight and Jeremy Mac sharing their experience of coming out and providing words of advice and encouragement in support of other people who may be going through the same or similar experiences.
