Expectations, the nation’s leading gay fetish store, has announced a major revamp of its Shoreditch premises.
After surveying thousands of its customers across the UK, Europe and beyond to determine what they would like Expectations to provide in future, a major feature of the new look store will be a hugely expanded Mister B Shop-in-Shop, three times the size of the existing area in fact!
In addition, there will also be a dedicated section for Barcode, whose entire range of über sexy underwear, jockstraps, shorts, singlets and gym wear will be presented for the first time in a retail store in the UK.
Using vintage and reclaimed furniture and fixtures, a stunning new look will be created throughout the store. Products will be displayed in a much more user-friendly fashion, many laid out on huge tables made from reclaimed/refurbished water tanks or contained in classic restored medical cabinets.
To allow for the revamp, the backroom of the store (no, not that type of backroom!) will be closed from Monday 10th to Thursday 13th August. The front of the store, however, will be trading normally. Then, to complete the transformation, the entire store will be closed from Monday 17th to Thursday 20th August. Throughout the works Expectations’ online store www.expectations.co.uk will operate as usual.
