After a long week at QXMEN HQ watching endless porn DVDs ‘til the small hours and late nights out with A-list porn stars, many of whom were in town for the HustlaBall and Hotrods, the last thing we felt like doing late on a Friday night – or rather the early hours of Saturday morning – was to go clubbing.
However, Barcode, home to the twice-weekly night, Fitladz, is on our way home, and we couldn’t resist the allure of all those fit lads in trackies, footie shorts and baseball caps. So, even though we were in t-shirt and jeans (there’s no dress code – sportswear and scally gear’s just encouraged) when we got to Vauxhall we asked the cab driver to pull over and popped in.
It was 1am and night was in full swing with some lads getting down to the pumping house tunes downstairs, while others were getting down and dirty upstairs in the darkroom and new cruise cabins! Although, as we said, there isn’t a dress code, most of the guys there had got into the Fitladz mood and were looking fit-as-fuck dressed in Hackett, Nike, Adidas and the like.
If you want a hot night out with plenty of sexy lads in sportswear and scally gear, and excellent music (Fitladz DJs include Steven Geller, PJay, Eduardo Herrera and Sven Jon) QXMEN would recommend you get down to Fitladz on a Friday or Sunday night.
• Fitladz on Friday night starts at 10pm and goes on ‘til 8am Saturday morning. It only costs £6 for members to get in and £8 for guests.
• Fitladz Sundays, where Stevie B hosts the weekly amateur strip contest and the winner gets £100, starts at 10pm and goes on ‘til 6am on Monday morning! It’s only a fiver to get in for members and £7 for guests.
