02/05/2015: The hottest clubbing event on the international leather and rubber scene’s calendar became a strong contender for the hottest night out for lovers of sportswear, when promoters Suzie Krueger and Rob Rutt pulled off a seamless fusion of the two fetishes with Hotwired Sports on the May Day Bank Holiday weekend.
Leaving the motor at home we took a trip to London’s coolest car park when Hotwired returned for a special one-off springtime event with a difference. Called Hotwired Sports, the usual ultra strict leather and rubber dress code had been expanded to include sportswear and the night saw some of the hottest muscle leather men and fit rubber lads from across Europe party shoulder to shoulder with horny sportswear fans in rugby kit, football strip and wrestling suits.
While some clubbers got down to some serious crossbreeding in the vast multi-roomed play space, others partied in the massive dance room, the huge chill out area and very cruisy outdoor smoking terrace.
Speaking to QXMEN, Rob Rutt said, “Thanks to everyone for coming down. We had a load of sexy guys in sportswear as well as the usual leather and rubber crowd, plus we saw a lot of new faces. We’re already planning our October party, which will be the regular leather and rubber only dress code… See you then!’
