This year, latex manufacturer, Invincible Rubber, is celebrating its 21st year in the industry!
Invincible Rubber was set up 21 years ago by David Ince and Paul Lewis.
David, who’s sadly no longer with us, was the more creative of the two and a skilled manufacturer, while Paul was the driving force behind the company’s growth and success. From humble beginnings working on a kitchen worktop, Invincible Rubber has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers of men’s latex clothes in the world. From its London roots the company is now based in Nottingham in the East Midlands and has been there now for eleven years.
QXMEN spoke to Ian Michaels from Invincible Rubber who told us why he loves Latex. “Latex is a fantastic material which acts and feels like a second skin when wearing it… The smell and the touch is enough to get the pulse racing! I personally was a virgin when I was drawn into the world of latex and, after more than 15 years, still love what its attraction is. “In 2011 we had the great opportunity to work with some of the models from the HustlaBall – Samuel Colt, his partner Chris Porter, Jay Roberts, Bruno Knight, Justin King, Martin Di Buccio and Jonathan Agassi to name a few. The guys spent a couple of days shooting our new collection here in Nottingham which was then to see the launch of our newly designed website after two years of development. It was widely welcomed by our customers and a breath of fresh air to the industry in general, with a great number of new colours available all across our range. “
