They may be over but we had to show you gay hook-up site Squirt.org’s brilliant social media campaign, which ran during the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.
In protest against Russia’s anti-gay propaganda law, it portrayed images of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, in various gay sexual acts with quotes from Putin himself.
Launching the campaign, Attila Szatmari, digital business director at Pink Triangle Press, Squirt’s operator, said, “Pink Triangle Press has been fighting for LGBT rights for over 40 years, we feel that it is our duty to draw attention to what’s happening in Russia. We are doing it the Squirt way: sexy, explicit and controversial.”
